FAQs

What types of events do you work on?

MUSIC FESTIVALS, CONCERTS, TRADESHOWS, SPORTING AND MOTORSPORT EVENTS.

How early should we engage Waller Design in the planning process?

The earlier, the better, and we mean that sincerely. Ideally, we join your team 6–12 months before the event to allow sufficient time for concept development, design iterations, permitting, and municipal or venue approvals, which can be lengthy and unpredictable on their own.

Early engagement also means we can proactively solve problems before they become expensive ones, whether that's identifying site constraints, coordinating with other vendors, or stress-testing your vision against real-world logistics.

That said, we understand the events industry doesn't always operate on an ideal timeline. We've successfully supported clients on compressed schedules and know how to move quickly without sacrificing quality. If you're working against a tight deadline, reach out anyway. We'll be honest with you about what's achievable and how to make the most of the time we have.

Do you handle permitting and code compliance?

Yes. We provide certified drawings that comply with local building codes and permitting requirements. We are able to coordinate and manage permit submissions and approvals for inspections

Can overlay design and life safety consulting be engaged separately?

Yes, these are considered separate services that could further enhance the success of each event.
